Do you know what Jesus wants for His birthday this year? I think I heard Him say He wanted some puppet comedy. Does that sound right to you? Yeah, I'm almost positive that's what He wanted. The dude loves puppet comedy. Anyway, Christmas has come a couple months early.

If you still don't know what to get Mom this year, why not give the gift of ventriloquism? After all, your Mom totally loves ventriloquism. I know because she told me. Last night. In bed. Every year on this day, people all over the world binge on green beer and corned beef to honor St. Patrick, who bravely chased all of the snakes out of Ireland. How does one chase a snake? Beats me, but I do know snakes are the worst and wholly unnecessary to the food chain. Which, I can only assume, is why Jeff Dunham doesn't have any snake puppets.

There are fewer than 24 hours left to vote in the Stand-Up Showdown, and with things neck and neck, every vote will count. Since the last time I checked in, Kyle Cease has continued to gain ground. He's now in second place, just a handful of votes behind Jeff Dunham, who remains in the lead. Of course Dunham and Cease aren't the only ones still in it. Dan Cummins is close behind in third place and there's still time for a dark-horse to make a last minute surge and upset the whole thing. Basically this is still anybody's game, so make sure you keep voting for your favorite and rooting for him or her in the comments.
