Buckwheat Spells...

The Li'l Rascals are sitting in class and the teacher calls Buckwheat to the front of the room to begin the day's spelling lesson. “Can you spell the word ‘dictate’ for the class, Buckwheat,” she asked.
He replied, “I sure can: d-i-c-t-a-t-e!”
“Very good,” came the teacher's reply. “Now can you use that word in a sentence please?”
Buckwheat thought for a second then turned towards Darla and asked, “Hey, Darla, how'd my dictate la't night?!”
